Meet the Doctor
Dr. Cody Gordon
For more than two decades, Dr. Gordon has focused much of his clinical work on upper cervical chiropractic and the relationship between the upper neck, alignment, movement and function.
Experience matters.
So does precision.
Dr. Gordon's approach to chiropractic care is built around careful assessment, specificity and individualized treatment. Rather than taking the same approach with every patient, he wants to understand what is happening with the person in front of him.
Upper cervical care has been a major part of Dr. Gordon's work from the beginning of his career. NUCCA provides a highly specific way to evaluate the relationship between the head and upper cervical spine and, when indicated, make a gentle and precisely calculated correction.
Over the years, Dr. Gordon has worked with people dealing with persistent neck pain, headaches, dizziness, jaw problems and symptoms following injury. For patients who have been searching for answers, the upper cervical spine may be an important piece of the picture that deserves a closer look.
Dr. Gordon currently practices in Kensington, Calgary, providing both NUCCA upper cervical and general chiropractic care.

The Path to Upper Cervical Care
This Wasn't Something Dr. Gordon Discovered Halfway Through His Career.
Upper cervical chiropractic helped shape the kind of chiropractor Dr. Gordon set out to become. His interest in movement, biomechanics and precise care began long before he entered practice.
From Kinesiology to NUCCA
Dr. Gordon began his education studying kinesiology at Mount Royal College, now Mount Royal University, in Calgary. His interest in how the human body moves and functions eventually led him to chiropractic.
By the time he entered Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Gordon already knew he wanted upper cervical care to be part of his clinical work. Palmer was especially appealing because it offered the opportunity to study NUCCA and begin applying the approach while working in the college's student clinics.
Dr. Gordon graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2004 after earning Dean's List recognition. He entered practice with NUCCA already forming an important part of the way he evaluated and cared for patients.
More than two decades later, that focus remains. Years of working with the upper cervical spine have given Dr. Gordon something that cannot come from a textbook alone: the clinical experience to recognize patterns, ask better questions and know when this small but important region deserves a closer look.
“NUCCA wasn't something I added to my practice. It was part of the kind of chiropractor I wanted to become from the very beginning.”
A Lifetime Interested in Movement
Understanding the Body Beyond the Treatment Room
Movement has always been part of Dr. Gordon's life. Over the years he has competed in boxing, distance running, marathons, triathlon and competitive road cycling.
His years in competitive cycling included racing at a high level and earning multiple podium finishes. Later, much of that competitive energy found a new home in coaching Little League baseball.
That athletic background has reinforced a principle that continues to influence his clinical work: small differences in alignment, movement and mechanics can matter. The body functions as a connected system, and understanding how the pieces work together is often just as important as identifying where someone hurts.
